Documentaries on bad social networking experiences

Following the showing last night of The Girl Who Became Three Boys - 4oD - Channel 4

and having seen these:-

Talhotblond: (2009) - IMDb talhotblond

Catfish (2010) - IMDb Catfish

Are there anymore documentaries of tv shows that cover this type of genre?

the above films cover peoples experiences with social networking and things not be quite as they seem (don't want to give away the plots to the above incase people haven't seen them yet)

Input wlecomed.

catfish isn't a real documentary, it's a movie marketed to make people think it's real. i've never heard of the other one

Hi,

BBC3 is usually the home of "Bad Social Networking" experiences, so I'd keep an eye out on their schedules, as they have had a few about Twitter bullying/abuse in recent weeks. I'm sure you can find them on the BBC iPlayer, if you want too. Sorry I can't supply any titles, but one was with Cherly Healey and a second one with Richard Bacon, if that helps you.

There was a documentary about a young women who'd been posing as three different boys to seduce two teenage girls on Channel 4 last night. She knew them before as a girl, but made contact via Facebook when pretending to be the boys. It was one of those "you couldn't make it up" type of things, but actually quite engaging due to the disarming honesty of one of the victims through whose eyes it was told.

I enjoyed catfish. Definitely worth a watch. There was another film (this was a conventional movie) directed by David Schwimmer (sp?) that was based around a really really bad social network experience, I forget the name......very dark and intense but I thought it was really well done. The young actress in it was exceptional.
