Cool Last Embrace

I haven’t seen this film for quite a while but the last time I saw it I thoroughly
enjoyed it. It is a thriller and in the vain of Alfred Hitchcock and even has a score by Miklós Rózsa very reminiscent of those bygone days, and thought it better than anything De Palma did in his style.

The film is on tonight at 23.35 it sters Starring: Roy Scheider, Janet Margolin, John Glover(he plays Lex Luthor’s dad), and Christopher Walken,

Haven't seen this in ages!

Really enjoyed it when I saw it many moons ago - like Garrett says, one of the better Hitchcock homages.

Off to search for a DVD release!

Cool

Seems we like some classic films.

I had a look round and cannot see any copies of it, I wish you luck and hope you are not missing it on TV although 4:3.

If any ones interested the music is very evocative to that used in El Cid but really suits this film.

Cool

Your right I like that one as well. I haven’t seen that for some time, I think the BBC were the last to show it.

The guy who directed Last Embrace went on to direct Se7en.
