Afternoon,
I actually watched the 105-minute Pilot Episode, and quite enjoyed it. So far, everyone compares it to "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", but it's got almost nothing to do with that. The only similarities are that the heroine (Cassie) is female, has long blond hair, and the demon Azazeal is vaguely similar (in his human form) to Angel actor David Boreanaz. (Long black trenchcoat, manly good looks, brooding, et al.)
The show itself, is pretty darn good. It's actually a US-UK co-production: Sky and Sony Pictures (who also produce "The Shield"!

The ending of the Pilot Episode, is a bit of a shocker, and certainly leaves you wanting more.
I don't want to spoil it, for those who haven't watched it yet, but if you want a gutsy, ballsy, genuinely intelligent British drama, with fantasy/horror overtones, then it's worth a watch.
My only disappointment, was the large amount of heavy rock music. It was appalling! All no-name, grunge bands shouting into a microphone, and sounding like pigs being crushed by a snow-plough!

Oh, and Sky crushed the credits, so you couldn't read who all the actors were playing which character.

However, the cast is as follows:-
Cassie - Christina Cole
Thelma - Jemima Rooper
Troy - Joseph Morgan
Leon - Jamie Davis
Jo Watkins - Anna Wilson-Jones
Roxanne - Amber Sainsbury
David Tyrel (The Head of the College) - Colin Salmon
Gemma - Zoe Tapper
Azazeal - Michael Fassbender
Lilith Hughes - Geraldine James
Rev. George - Alison Newman
Other than that, a great show for a Pilot Episode! I'm going to see how many episodes there are. It will probably be 13 episodes in total, including the double-length Pilot. Just be warned: the show is quite dark in tone, and does deal with some adult topics, like rape, etc. I wouldn't recommend it to under-15's. Once you've seen the Pilot, you may see why I say this.
