I've not seen this program. Is it something I could start watching now, or would I be better of watching it from the start ?

It is more or less a sketch show so there is no need to have watched it before I think the only thing you need to know is the guy in the wheelchair can walk and his carer does not know.

I personally think a lot of the joke are hit and miss e.g. the prime minister one.

Little Britain 2nd series.

I've started to record the second season for my brother who's at Uni, but I'm unsure as to when and how frequently the new episodes will be shown. Last week Tues 9pm was seemingly the first episode, though this weeks episode on Tues isn't listed in my tv guide as being a new episode. Does anyone know whats going on? is the mag wrong and it is the 2nd episode. The mag doesn't list episode titles for this for some reason, so it's impossible to work out.

Anyone know?

HI,

I hate to say this, but I simply couldn't watch the second series of "Little Britain". Why, you ask?!

Bloody canned laughter, that's why!!!

I've already phoned the BBC to complain. It's not on! "Little Britain" doesn't need canned laughter. The first few seconds of episode 1 were ruined, to the point that I couldn't hear Tom Baker's superb commentary, as well as half of the jokes!

I hope that they drop the canned laughter track, otherwise I won't be watching this show any more!

I noticed it a lot on the scene when the two bloke where dressed up as women. There was hardly anything funny about it, but laughter was being played all the way through although I laughed out loud with the punch line.

anyone watch the last episode of 'Early Doors' (BBC2, Monday, 10pm). Absolute genius. Very underrated comedy with some absolutely cracking one-liners. Especially love the police officers dealing with drugs and someone (tommy) spending the whole of a 21st party sitting in the toilet!!

Cool

Like the crack about the diabetic in his twenties recanting the tale of at 15 being told he would have to go on a diet or die SPOILER and the thick woman asking him did he go on the diet

I never saw the first series of this show but I hope they repeat it. As I really enjoyed the second one.

Is the original series being shown anywhere at the moment ? I tried to watch the 1st episode of the new series (recorded on BBC3 last night) and couldn't watch it because of the canned laughter. Even if I'd not read this thread it would have put me off watching it as it was so over done.

Lo there,

Watched "Little Britain" on Saturday on BBC 3. I'm up at my other halfs just now and until Saturday she only had the 5 terrestrial channels but I got her a digibox over the weekend and noticed Little Britain was on.

Not sure if this was a repeat or what but I really thought it was 1 of the best I've seen so far. I'll admit that I'm not too keen on the Prime Minister sketches nor the only gay in the village, they can be very very hit n miss as someone has pointed out.

The wheelchair bloke sketeches though really did crack me up, especially the last one where he gets up and beats the hell out of the lads @ the park.

I know it's on tomorrow night, though I'm not sure if it's a repeat. I'll be watching it though to find out.

Dave
