Series 3 has been on for a while now. Check out channel 5, 11.10pm tonight. Though it's episode 13 outta 15.

Also, I bought series 1 for just £16 on www.Play.com worth a look if you're interested.

I had been recording this season to dvd. Unfortuantly I kept missing episodes what with it being moved to a Sat. Keep forgetting to set the dvd rec. Have done the same thing with Sopranos.

Hi,

"The Shield" Season 3 is unlikely to be rerun on Five, for at least six months. It will likely be repeated about four months prior to Season 4 starting. Season 4 will probably start to air around end of July 2005.

However, if you have Sky, you should keep an eye on Sky channel "FX289", as they hold the rights to air "The Shield" Season 3 on satellite. As they have shown Seasons 1 and 2 (as far as I know), then Season 3 should be on their station fairly soon. (However, it probably won't be in proper widescreen, and will be DOG'd!)

FX289 plan to broadcast season three later this year/early next year. It will be in 16:9 letterbox format.

Ummm, this is unlikely, unless they get the right technical broadcast equipment to air 16:9 material.

Actually season one and two were in 16:9 letterbox of FX289.
They were not anamorphic though - i think that is what you are thinking off.

16:9 letterbox means your TV has to zoom in itself. Its still widescreen though.

PS - season three will be out on DVD in the US in Jan/Feb and in the UK around July.
