I thought that was too many supercars for one night.
Especially looking forward to the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster.
Gotta be the sexiest roadster on the planet!

Ice Cream vans jumping over bouncy castles, whatever next? I expect this keeps the eight year olds entertained.

I enjoyed last night痴 program although the hair omlette part was a load of crap and added nothing. Anyone else getting sick of seeing Hammond smarmy little face all over the TV at the moment?

I would just like to know when
(a) TG is going to test cars most of us can afford. In the good old days with Quentin and Tiff they used to test cars like the Ford Puma.
(b) What's the point of driving cars round in circles on sand and saying it handles like a dream. How often do drivers suddenly find themselves encountering sand?
(c) Bouncy castles!!! Whatever next?
(d) How much did it cost licence payers to get that Hercules to land on the beach just so the shrimp could drive out of the back with a big stupid grin on his face.

Now I like a bit of fun and entertainment, but I think TG has lost its way.

Probably nothing. The RAF have featured on TG a couple of times lately (Exige vs Apache) and is great advertising for the Armed Forces. Works like those recruiting adverts we see, trying to show how cool a career in the army is.

But he is still an irritating shrimp.

Cool

You have to admit it is no longer Top Gear it more like Men Behaving Badly with cars.

One of the things that really annoys me these days about them is how they go on about taking traction control off and getting the cars to skid round corners. Its ok if you are a top driver but if you try their stunts and you are not you end up in a coffin.

Last nights was an all time low for silliness. Hair omelette anyone?

Has Stig stopped doing his test tracks of supercars?

I have to agree with some of the comments about top gear, as far as I'm concerned the show and in particular Clarkson have completly lost the plot. They should be testing more "bread and butter" cars with the odd super car thrown in to keep us drooling. They should also test them properly, not poncing around in the sand or doing donuts on the track, what the **** is that all about? But I suppose it beats working for a living
Cheers,
Oddbodd.

I stopped watching 5th Gear because of Vicki Buttface Henderson. She's OK for the lads I guess, but the sight and sound of her squealing with delight while throwing a 」100,000 Ferrari around corners was just too much for me!

The other thing that annoys me about TG is Clarkson. He verbally trashes a car that he's driving. Then just after he has described it as the worst car on the planet, we get "BUT".... He then goes on to say how fantastically good it is and how, for a mere 」76,000, 」95,000, 」110,000 you'd find it hard to do better at the price... and that the manufacturer has got it just right. I'm sitting there thinking "Hey, but you just said it was a hateful car."
On Sunday, I was convinced he hated the new Porsche right up to the "BUT"...

Is it me?

Not really she has a voice like Les Dawson, and as you say, squeals and she acts a bit ladish. Much preferred Michele Newman

And I have mentioned it before about Clarkson a lot of the time never gives a right out opinion on a car but will compare it to something else e.g. if so and so car was a donkey this would be a mustang stallion.

What about the other car program that does normal cars as well Driven!

I agree with you on that one, Pulling Power is probably the best of the car shows but it tends to get slotted in at odd times. It also featured Gail Porter who did quite a sensible job of car testing. I could identify with her because she's not a petrol head.

I bought my car (a Puma) on the strength of TG voting it their car of the year back in 1998. I first fell in love with it when "Steve McQueen" drove up and down the hills of San Francisco... and then Tiff drove it.

But these days, even Tiff tends to do a Vicki when he's driving!

There, I've got it off my chest.

Looking forward to it. I want to find out what vehicle gets restored - I'd love to see the old Who car get done.

Maybe they'll drive the new Disco up a mountain again, or try crossing the channel in it

Well ive been watching top gear since the people presenting it had beards and clarkson was thin(ish) and i love it!
If i wanted to see what a fiesta or a corsa drives like i would go and test drive one. A ferrari on the other hand i cant test drive and so hearing what its like is the next best thing. However hair omlette and bouncy castles dont really interest me at all.
Did anyone see last nights? Crap Porsche challenge? Not exactly up to date stuff but very funny!
