I don't know if anybody read this but they are actually thinking of cancelling this great show, because BBC have been taken over by female excecs they think it is to "Laddish", i can see it being replaced by another gardning or home improvment show (cause we don't have enough of those) what do you guys think?

naa, not laddish at all, probably the best entertainment quiz show on telly

I used to watch this avidly but since they changed the captains from Linekar and Gower it's lost some of that sparkle for me. Mind you, Jonathon Ross is always good for a laugh.

Agree. Ian Wright is like a teenage **** and Tuffnel is a one-trick pony - talk about anything other than dope (including cricket) and he might as well not be there.

Weird thing is though... my other half actually watches it and enjoys it these days, in its current format, but she hated the old series.

I think it has been relegated to the Monday 10:30 pm slot. That's where Trevor's World of Sport went before it was sent (back?) to Radio 4.

Do not enjoy it as much as i used to. Bring back Lee Hurst i say and shoot J Ross. Cannot stand the bloke. Even Rorys jokes seem the same now.

I seem to recall starting a thread a year ago saying that the show had gone downhill and it has got worse since then. Couple of weeks ago I said to my wife "Let's see how long it takes until the first Wayne Rooney joke comes out - three minutes was the correct answer but at least they have cut down on the Beckham jokes.

The program has run out of both ideas and talented team captains so perhaps it's better if it just dies away whilst we can still remember what it was like in it's hey day
