it says on a website that Tom and Zoe are only in it for 2 episdoes this series Umm don't know how to do that colour thing and I dont know if it is a spoiler or not!

I've not watched a single episode, but my work colleagues think it's great. Is it worth a go if I've not watched it before and know none of the characters or previous events?
It is episodic (spelt correctly?) and therefore fairly easy to get into, or is it a continuous story?

Although not strictly necessary, it wouldn't half help if you watched the first two series first. Not only that, but it'd spoil parts of the first two series if you watched them afterwards.
