Bottom - which series??

There is an episode of Bottom where Richie and Eddie steal someone's car (a Welsh bloke) and they drive to Woverhampton and stay in a hotel in the honeymoon suite because they've stolen some tickets that were meant for someone else. Eddie has to dress up as a woman and starts chatting up the male receptionist. Not sure if this is enough info, but I wanted to know if it's available on DVD and which series it is. I've got series 2 and it's not on there and I'm pretty sure it's not on the series one DVD either. Does anyone know?

thanks, yes that probably would make sense, it isn't out yet, I just wasn't sure how many series there were. The one I described is my favourite episode it has me in stitches, the camping one is great too. I also really like the Christmas one in series 2 when Richie chops his finger off, classic! There's a severe lack of decent comedy on tv at the moment.

Hi,

My two favourite episodes from "Bottom", are:
- the Ferris-Wheel one, and
- The Gas Man (from Series One, I think).

Both were hilarious! However, there's also another episode were Eddie puts Richie's head into the fridge, and then repeatedly slams the door on him. During this, Eddie looks to camera (us, the viewers) as if he were wandering if he should continue with this or not. Obviously, he continues, regardless, because he's enjoying giving Richie another dose of home torture! I love that scene, and the show was a real gem from the 1990's. It certainly deserves to be shown again, but uncut and uncensored this time around, as I believe the BBC edited some of the episodes on previous showings, due to unsuitably violent scenes.

I believe a Region 1 "Bottom" boxed set exists, that contains all 3 series, and all the other Outtakes/Extras as well. It's called something like: "Bottom: Not Another Half-Arsed Release". Look for it, on any half-decent Region 1 site. It should cost about £30, give or take. Full details are here!

Got the Bottom : Not Another Half-Arsed Release its bloody good fun and well worth the £20 - it has some fun extras including some Dangerous brothers bits, some stand up bits plus all the outtakes from the bottom series. Far better than the pitiful Uk Releases.

Yes that's "Finger" from Series 3 (only currently available on region 1 ) my second favourite episode after "Gas" -

"It is, it's Ted Rogers in a dress!"

Hopefully series 3 will be released soon
The episode where Eddie puts Richie's head into the fridge is in series 2 called "Culture" - the one where they have no telly and decide to play chess.

Yes it's a real bonus as you get the "Bottom Fluff" videos included on the discs. I'm still annoyed about the PC modification of one of my favourite lines though - in "Apocalypse" - "I love you Romany types etc. etc." - This affects region 1 and 2. However they now seem to have reinstated the drunk bloke singing "Night Fever" though which was cut from the VHS version and is very amusing.

Its funny that they re-dubbed that one line in Apocalypse but in the chapter selection it has the original line as a description for that scene, why change one and not both lol
