Hardly the best line-up is it, that Film Four have got?! Most of these, if not all, have been on before.

The only film I may bother with, is "Versus", otherwise they're either crap, or repeats of repeats I've seen time and time before.

Since FilmFour decided to get rid of its "Film Four World" and "Film Four: Extreme" channels, it's just showing the same old pap that you can get at any half-decent video rental store.

I mean, for goodness sake, do FilmFour really think people are going to watch "Film Four Weekly" - the same three films, shown nightly, for seven days?! How many times does someone need to see "Some Like It Hot", "Evolution", "Picnic At Hanging Rock", or "Manhunter"?! They're all reasonable films, but they've been on so often.

It's a shame that in the dumbing down of Channel 4 and E4, "Film Four" has also done the same. Hence, I cancelled my subscription ages ago, and I don't regret it. Heck, even Sky Movies has a better selection of foreign films this month (October), than Film Four do!

i've tried too on telewest digital and its not on - channel 444 - no subscribey ?!?

Hi,

Free "Film Four" Weekends only apply to Sky Digital viewers, who subscribe with the minimum Basic Package. If you don't subscribe, then Sky don't let you have the free weekend of viewing.

Occasionally NTL will let you also have an unencrypted weekend of Film Four, as well as Sky viewers, but normally NTL don't want to give you something for nothing. Not exactly a good business decision by NTL really!
