Post Buffy

Hey people,

Any more news as to when the next Buffy DVD boxset is due out? I asked this question about 6 weeks ago I know, but I was wondering if anyone had heard anything since then.

cheers,

T

May 28th.

And for a bargain go and preorder it from Amazon.co.uk where it is currently £38.99. Given that that is similar to the Season 1 price and there are 24 instead of 12 episodes it looks like a steal. Of course they may not honour it

There are expected to be 6 DVDs with some extras.

Regards Neil.

Well it has widely been reported in forums that this is the complete series. Also has been reported in R4.

Hell at that price its worth ordering and cancelling if its only half!

I have heard rumors that the release of Buffy season 2 in the UK is going to split into 2 boxsets...

If that is the case Jimmy that will be bad news.

And it'll certainly push most of us to R4...

As an update I rewatched the DVD Season 2 trailer and it specifically states "Complete Season" and also specifically shows a gatefold packing set identical to those used on Sopranos and X-Files. Hence it will be one set.

Note also that many online retailers are putting the price up. So preorder!

play247.com have still got it at £39.99. No telling when they'll up the price though, and I'm sure they will when they realise that it probably should cost double that. Hurry if you want it at this price!!

T-Force,

The trailer is on the VHS copies of Angel Season 1 Set 2 and Buffy Season 4 Set 2. It details all the extras etc also.

Regards Neil.
