X-Files from Oz

I just received my X-Files Season 2 boxset from Oz, its is in 4 cases rather than the normal fold out cardboard thing, but then it is so cheap its silly.

A question i do have though is this.

Are the epsiodes in these packs cut compared to the normal versions, the only reason i ask is years ago i bought some videos from oz and all the films were cut (quite badly in some places). im just hoping it isnt the case here

what rating is it, my region 2 copy is an 18.

i've just had a look on an oz DVd site and season 2 is a 15+ so it maybe cut. to be honest i've never understood why season is an 18, but thats whats on the side of the box.

All the R4 X Files DVD's are the same as the R2's.

MY VHS season 2 has tape number 4 as a 18. So the DVD will have an overall 18 certifcate. Just because the R4 is a 15+ it doesn't mean it is cut.

I am about to order S7 and S8 from DVD Crave.

All the seasons up to S8 are £18 + postage of around £6. S9 is around £30 + poastage.

Postage isn't included when getting through customs. So, they just look at the £18. The actual price will be £17 something.

It's a great price, no it's a fantastic price and a complete bonus to receive them before the 28th when they were due for re release , however the plastic cases are absolutely horrible. Usually Fox give amaray cases with their DVDs but when there's a big promotion or something they seem to be cheaper cases provided. However these cases are even worse than those cheaper cases I mentioned. These cases have to be the worst I have ever seen and I've seen some crap cases!

Mind you at these low, low prices you can't blame Fox for cutting corners on cheap cases!

However if you can get past the cases it is definitely worthwhile at under £30 a season it a freaking bargain!

How.

I keep hearing how awful they are but, no one can explain why.

the mechanism that holds and releases the DVDs is just poorly designed making it hard to store or release the disc, I'm not really sure how to describe it any further than that.

I got S7 this morning. It only took 4 days to get here.

It is a digipack. It looks the same as the R2 packaging but it much more sturdier and better put together.

I am ordering S8 soon.
