Oh, the x-files has probably been the most expensive part of my vhs/dvd collection

I have the first two box sets that were sold exclusive in HMV, they covered 4 episodes each.

By that time FOX realised how popular they were and started selling the Series Box sets and all the individual 2 parters that came out. I have them all up to series 6.

Then they started the DVD release which i now have upto series 7.

I calculated I have spent £1080 on x-files.

Then to top it all off HMV had DVD box sets series 1-4 for £20 each in their last sale.

You don't think they would re-release them again on Blu-Ray would you

Some of the early seasons where fantasic! and strangly - season 9 was great, i really enjoyed it.

X-files is indeed still my fav program, Season 8 was probably the low point for me, season 9 picked up the quality somewhat.

My wallet needs all the help it can get.

Got Stargate Season 6 and smallville season 2 coming this month.

Still got to buy Angel season 4, alias season 3 for september.

Also CSI season 2 and 3 are winking provocativly at me from the shops every time I walk by them. hhhmmm twins

Oh , just realised that CSI Miami and now New York will probably get box sets as well.

Won't somebody let me win the lottery

The DVDs are out there...

I've got the original vids (2 episodes to a tape), then I bought the vid boxsets to series 5, then I ran out of cash.

I notice that CDWOW have got the DVD series boxsets for £49.99 each and then again for £28.99 each. Have they re-released the box-sets?

The price is tempting...

Forget CDWow mate, check out DVDCrave, they are selling the X Files Season 1-8 Boxsets for under £18 each plus postage (about £4.00) so no worries about customs and they are exactly the same sets as CDWow are selling just cheaper.
