Touch

Kiefer Sutherland is in negotiations for a return with another Fox drama series, a pilot called 'Touch' from Heroes creator Tim Kring. Like 24 its being produced by 20th Century Fox TV.

Centers on a father (Sutherland) who discovers that his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen.

Fox has now picked up 13 episodes of the drama, which Suthlerland stars as "a single father to Jake, a mute 11-year-old who communicates through numbers."

Fox's Kevin Reilly;

“With Kiefer back on the network as the face and force behind this creative new series, I’m confident it will resonate with viewers this spring. Touch is another ambitious series from Tim Kring that is beautifully executed and has incredibly resonant themes for our times."

As this is from the creator of Heroes, I predict that we will be strung along with the promise of a big event close to the last 2 episodes of the season on;y to be underwhelmed by the whole affair.

Episode 1: Pilot (US)

Enjoyable, quite emotional, similar to films like Brad Pitt's 'Babel', various interlocking character stories all over the globe connected by the numbers.

Watched this last night, seems good so far.

My only gripe is that Kiefer seems to just play, well, Kiefer.... in whatever role he's in.

Other than that, enjoyed it and will continue with it.

Kiefer, he's no Michael Sheen

Is that post '24' (series)? would you have said that before 24, in films like Dark City, Lost Boys, Stand by Me

Promo for the upcoming episodes (March). Jude Ciccolella (24's Mike Novick) guest stars.

Just caught the first episode of this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well written and the interwoven story was excellent. Definitely one to watch and stick with imo.

Same here - was pretty good and interesting story. Long wait until the series actually starts but I'm definitely giving it a go

I've been waiting a while now for an exciting new big drama to start and looks like this (potentially) could be it. Cant wait to watch the pilot.

The early look at the pilot did not help waiting for the proper series start, hope the rest of the series is as good.
