Restoration Nation

Found this last night whilst channel hopping, anyone else watch it?

Last night covered some fantastic pieces of modern architecture and showed some amazing stained glass.

What channel was I watching by the way?
I would like to see more of the series.

Cheers, Mylo

Do you mean Restoration, on BBC2 last night?
Presented by Griff Rhyss Jones.

If so, this is the second series and hopefully should be as good as the first. Every week the two other presenters go to different regions of the country and have a look at 3or4? buildings that are in dire need of restoration. The public vote for their favourite building from that week, and then towards the end of the series all the winners from each episode go into a grand final. The winner getting a large cash payout towards their restoration project.

If this isn't the programme you mean then I have just rambled on for nothing!

Cheers
Greg

Greg, Garrett, that is another one that as it happens I meant to watch but missed Was it any good?

I've done some searching and the one I watched was on BBCFour, I've only just discovered this channel. Last night featured buildings in Scotland and focused on the cutting edge building methods of many years ago.
Next Tuesday is Wales.

Stupid thing is they restore broken down buildings yet in out area we have some and had some fantastic old buildings in good repair some still in use, but that council keeps knocking them down and selling the land to developers.
