Films on TV

Do you ever find yourself watching a film on tv when you have the DVD? Noticed Goodfellas on tonight, but the DVD is sat on the shelf and I know if I catch the start I will end up watching it. VMax

At least when you watch it on C4 you don't have to get up and turn the dvd over halfway through

Goodfellas is an exeption, but no, TV just doesn't compare in terms of pic quality, sound and correct aspect ratio.

My wife is forever doing this. I'll suggest we just put the dvd on if she wants to see it but no.....

I gave up a while ago.
