Enterprise finale
Hi,
What did you think?.
Spoiler;
Enjoyed it, how did archer get on the planet?. So the timeline has changed!, should be interesting next season. The ending, with the germans and the alien face reminded me a little off sliders series.

Personally I think this has been one of the best sci-fi series in years.
Actually it was one of the best shows on TV, never mind just as a sci-fi series.
The ending was definitely "What the is happening?"
Sets it up for an explosive start to the new series.

Highlight the followingIt was a great series , but didn't they already do a cliff hanger with archer stuck in another time and we already know how he got out of that

Yeah, but in this case it's not just Archer, it's everybody.

I have really enjoyed the whole series and cant wait for the next. My only problem is the odd time when there is a totally pointless episode

Really enjoyed the series aswell - it was great to see Earth actually kicking some arse instead of all the usual Federation softly softly stuff.
But the Ending *** ?? Have they gone back in time if so why didnt the Xindi ship that dropped them off also go back in time??

Okay I have a question. But it's a spoiler of sorts:
That alien at the end of the episode - have we seen his species before? He looked very familiar. I thought for a moment that it was because he reminded me of the Master in series 1 of "Buffy" - but then I thought I remembered seering an alien previously who also reminded me of the Master.

There is alot of talk on Trek forums about the Alien seen at the end being a Reman but personally I dont think he looks like one going by what they look like in Nemesis but I guess it is possible, will have to wait and see.

I thought the ending was rubbish!
They obviously couldn't think of anything good so used the old 'escape all' and put a time shift in......again.
As for when the shuttle craft flew down to San Fancisco, he said: "it all looks normal enough".
Oh really! So San Francisco in 1940 looks no different to several hundred years later?
Very lame.
And the alien?
How are they going to tie that in with the reality of the 2nd world war?
Oh wait, it's easy, they'll just change the timeline....again...

How do you know it's 1940...? For all we know, WWII may still be going on...OR maybe the NAZI's won WWII? So many possibilities, to say the ending was rubbish without actually thinking about it is a bit harsh, don't you think...? All we do know is it's not the Earth they left...

True, I hadn't considered those possibilities.
Still think using time is an easy cop out for writers.
Why don't they just 'slingshot around the sun' as Kirk did several times and go back and kill Degra before he builds his weapon and the whole Xindi thing will never/would never have happened...
Oh, and if it wasn't 1940 then why were there WWII propellor aircraft?
