No Angels on C4

I don't watch a great deal of TV but No Angels on Channel 4 is my only "Do not miss" program yet to my surprise it has never been mentioned here at all.

It is a sort of female equivalent of Men Behaving Badly and is about four very randy nurses in Leeds

The writing and production crew are all female so the male doctors are typically either tyrants or pathetic creatures.

Very very funny and it has me laughing out loud each week when the girls start exposing "women's secrets"

Tuesday nights on Channel 4 at 10 pm - It's worth it

yeah we're hooked too. As we're from Leeds we always try to location spot.

If you look down the street from the nurse's digs - at the bottom of the street you can see soon to be relegated Leeds United Football (and I use that term loosely) ground!

The carpet shop of Nishe's fiance is on Armley town street and the hospital Highroyds in Menston

it is a great start to hopefully a long running series. There is a lot of swearing in it, but makes it more realistic - its not swearing for swearing sake. Thats how us ******* northerners ****** speak!

I still love this, enjoyed the previous series and its the only thing I have ever seen that reflects the nurses I know in a realistic way. The Irish doctor Mcmanus is hilarious, when he kicked the frozen chicken like a rugby ball in the previous series it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen on TV! fantastic!

There was an article in the Sunday Mirror supplement about the return of No Angels, & it mentioned this was the last series.

The first two series were better.

Didn't think much of the new one the other night though

I believe this is the last ever series and the girls start to act more mature and all settle, in which case I can't see it beeing as goos as the first two.

Also, has the Asian girl (Angie?) been written out?
She got upset and quit a bit abruptley, a bit out of character for her

As you could see, she was noticeably larger than before
- the actress had a baby last summer; hence her leaving the show

It's a great shame as she had the best lines of the lot and it won't be the same if she isn't in it.

At least they're bringing it to a close, unlike Teachers which carried on without any of the original young teachers in series 4 (Kurt and Brian having gone), was quite inferior, and led to Ch4 axing it.
