Killbill Vol 2

So anyone seen this yet im going to watch it tonight looks cool only watch 5 min's of it so far but looks like its going to be just as good as Vol 1

so need to go shops - get some snacks in.
The only problem i can see with it is that its in WIDE screen so im going to have big black bars @ the top and bottom of the plasma screen after but i think that they should go after a couple of min's or so.
cya

I think he means he has downloaded a cinema copy off BitTorrent or some such network. And he intends to watch it.

Firstly why you say BULLSH#T ??

Secendly yes i have sean KillBill vol 1 and that film rocks

In kill bill 2 there are only 2 fight scenes and 1 last for i would say 3 min the second 1 last all of 60 seconds @ THE MOST

Kill Bill vol 2 is more of a EXPLAINING film for kill bill vol 1

Sorry about those comments i made earlier...I just couldn,t see how you had the Retail version of a movie that hadn't even been released at the cinema...But reading on you have explained the situation.
I, Like yourself, really enjoyed the first part and couldn't see how the second part could be that bad...But see your point with its lack of fighting scenes etc etc... but after buying a big sub and a friend of mine bringing part 1 over for us to watch tonight i'l still give part 2 the benefit of the doubt .

Just got back from the pics and must say I was really disappointed.
It had a few classic Tarintino moments ( Eyeball anyone?), but on the whole it seemed to drag, way to much dialog and not enough action, fighting, blood, mislaid limbs.
Looking forward to Helen of Troy now.

oh dear oh dear. Vol. 2 as a film is much, much better than the 1st one. Slow it is certainly not, pacing is just right, tells you all the character info you need etc. Some of you seem to think you were going to watch a 21st centuary kung-fu film, which it was never going to be, and were of course disapointed, but if you want to see a master director on top of his game i urge you to see Vol.2.

Cheers, my opinion is all it is, i just thought it was a really good film, i wasn't after amazing kung-fu or 100mph action, i just wanted to see a film that was entertaing, and on this level it was a very good one. But each to their own

I loved it too. I wasn't expecting it to be another mental action flick with another Crazy 88 type battle. I expected it to be the other half of the film, with all the story and explanations (and twists) in.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:

The church scene was cool. He could of shown the party being messed up bad with another harcore action sequence, but he didnt need to, we know what happened there, and now we know why.

The fight with 'Driver was brilliant - short and sweet and was very entertaining. Again, there is the little twist that Budd never sold the sword in it. Just little things like that I thought were really cool. I was expecting a bomb in the suitcase of money, but oh no its a Black Mamba. Makes sense sinse they are all named after deadly snakes.

The bleeping of The Brides name was obviously a "Tarrantino thing", I guess similar to the shinning gold light coming from the brief case in Pulp Fiction. Heh, it was never explained, and the short classroom scene was just bizarre. Heh

Anyyyway, I loved it. Thought it was fantastic. The section with her training was great (although I would of liked to see more fighting with The Bride and Poei (sorry can't remember his name), and the whole thing just worked. The buried alive sequence was horrid, as you could feel the dread in The Brides breath, and you knew that she was cacking herself about it.. Brilliant.

Bring on the extended editions

Well me and my old dear, was dissapointed. We went in to shaun of the dead by mistake at first (which we've seen) she kept saying i wish we'd watched that again insted. Too much over long speaches. Diane was more impressd by the IMAX projector we saw.
