Virgin ad

This may not be the right section of the forum for this question but here goes - The virgin ad featuring the rap star trying to turn on the television with this really flashy remote control and instead, opening up the curtains behind him resulting in much mirth for the crowd behind him - my friend tells me that that remote control DOES exist - can anyone confirm this?

Isn't it a one-for-all Kameleon?

it is very similar to the Kameleon but it is not the same. There are a few different American versions it could be one of those. However, I would not recommend the remote.

Such a remote may well exist but the one used in the Virgin commercial was a prop built for the shoot (I work at the agency that produced the ad). Sorry.

Thanks for the replies people, I'v seen the kameleon and have to admit it looks VERY similar to the one in the advert but I don't think it looked as hight tech.
However, the kameleon looks a real beaut and my fingers are poised above the credit card but for one thing - bobbles - you say you would'nt recommend this particular remote - why?

I've had one for just over a year now and i have to say i'm very happy with it. Its not a pronto (but neither is the price.) do a search on the remotes forum i think most people who got one were happy with. If you have an questions let me know, i'm happy to answer them.
