Kashmir documentary on Channel 4

I had seen the trailers for this programme and was quite looking forward to it although I can't recall seeing a current affairs documentary on Channel 4 before.

To say that I was disappointed was an understatement. The camerawork looked as though it was out of the Blair Witch school of photography and the journalism was tabloid style with much more emphasis being placed on the presenter than the subject matter. In fact it reminded me of Damian Day from Drop the Dead Donkey.

I switched off after 20 minutes as I couldn't stand it any more which is a great shame as the subject matter was interesting but in future I will leave the serious stuff to BBC.
