Was that the clip of the doc with his 'machine' for treating his female patient
- was shown in full on one of Conan's last shows a few weeks ago (Gervais plugging the Golden Globes which he hosted a few days later)?

- seemed fairly SFW to me , saucy but no swearing or cartoon images of actual 'parts' iirc ... and if a FCC-regulated US non cable network can play it on a pre-recorded show, it certainly would be SFW

I believe these are animations of their paid-for audiobook series rather than the original free Guardian podcasts

The Gervais character looks like a fat Barney Rubble.

The cartoons are great, but as Ricky Gervais said himself. Money for old rope.

the full audio collection is out there
- and be aware that you are very likely to laugh on your own in public if you've got any of it coming through your earphones

List of The Ricky Gervais Show episodes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- doesn't include the trio's earlier Xfm shows, and the occasional Radio 2 show
- Karl was also on Russell Brand's early BBC 6 Music shows ... and these should be easy to acquire (they were probably also condensed into official BBC podcasts at the time)

free occasional audio/video podcasts:
podcast.rickygervais.com/podcast.xml / The Ricky Gervais Podcast - Download free podcast episodes by Ricky Gervais on iTunes.

... and there's also this little gem of the trio as guests on the BBC World Service/PBS co-produced "The World's Technology podcast" at the time their original 'record-breaking' podcast series was drawing to an end - very funny, a great intro to the format of their shows, and still available for free ...

Are you one of the 3 million that have downloaded Ricky Gervais' podcasts? Is Stephen Merchant really that tall? Is Karl Pilkington the dumbest, or the smartest, man on the planet? If you came here looking for answers, you may leave disappointed. Yesterday, I had the dubious honor of interviewing the three guys behind The Ricky Gervais Show. Here's the whole ridiculous thing, complete with an outtake reel at the end.

Amusing. It should be renamed The Karl Pilkington Show.

Karl is the best part of the show, but he needs the other two to make it work. His own podcast isn't as funny.

good stuff. animation gives one a reason to revisit material we've heard before.

karl only "works" when the other two are there to be flabbergasted by his stupefying ignorance.

I've started buying them now. I started with No2, and I'm trying to buy them in the order of best to worst. No2 is very good. Anybody want to make a list in the order of funniness?

Question

Can anyone tell me if this show is available to watch on any UK TV channel or had been in the past ?
I'm currently downloading the shows via a BT site.

Thanks.

I saw my first episode last night. Karls cartoon is hilarious, he looks really grumpy and they kept on taking the mickey out of his round head.

i completely missed this! Thought they'd stopped doing podcasts after the podfather trilogy! I'm getting them all now, comedy gold for the bus journey to work

listening to the 'Earth' one at the moment, and i can't believe it but i actually agreed with one of Karl's opinions, about how we're damaging our own species by creating medicines to let 'the weak live longer'
