Just Watched - School Of Rock

What a truly great movie! I went to a Warner Preview last night (free - ) and after a pretty good start, my heart sank when I got the feeling this may be another "Kindergarten Cop". Boy, was I wrong.

I'm not gonna post any spoilers but I can say that there were some very good performances. The storyline, although more than a bit unbelievable, was highly entertaining and the score ROCKED!

A bit "Spinal Tap" in places, but that was no bad thing. It helps if you have ever been a "serious" musician but even if you haven't this is sure to have you laughin', rockin' and rollin'.

i agree, I saw this when i was on holiday in the states way back in September. Very good film to take the kids to. Fun for the adults too and enforces positive messages to kids about life and giving it your best shot etc without being overly sentimental or cheesy.

I really enjoyed it; nothing that made me laugh out loud mind, but I had a smile on my face throughout. The film would be nothing without Jack Blacks performance.
