Help With Film Title

This is on behalf of someone else (who was in the film!).....

"It was made in the fifties and it's a story about two little boys witnessing a murder and murder was trying to get these two kids because they were witnesses , it was shot around the old city Indina and its features the old police station at Indian.
I know what was made by British Film Company and it was made in black-and-white."

Familiar plot!

That's all he gave me.

Many Thanks
