Ufc espn hd

Just flicked over to ESPN HD and to my surprise the UFC seems to be in HD even though it doesn't state it's in HD on the sky guide. Does anyone know if the live boradcast was shown in HD? and also is this the first UFC to be broadcast in HD in the UK?

I can't remember when ESPN took over but it's certainly not the first HD broadcast of UFC not by a long way.

Yeah the UFC has been some of best HD viewing i have had and 105 was fantastic. I set the V+ box to record 106 but accidently set it to record ESPN and not HD and the difference is massive

Saying that though the SD picture is still quite good.

Looking forward to 107 with Sanchez and Penn and Clay Guida, just wish it was a rematch of Sanchez and Guida as their last fight was awesome.

Are the UFC fight nights that air in the states on Spike in HD as well when they come on ESPN?

I just got sky HD and want to watch Diaz vs Maynard in HD.

Yeah. ESPN have all the Fight Nights and live PPV's in HD.

Tonights show starts at 2am.
