The shortened mini-series is expected after the winter olympics with talk that if it does ok then a pick up for 10/11 season is possible.

Personally I think the failure of Jericho is a good indication that Day One hasn't much of a chance.

so it was pegged for a full season straight off?? its dire when before stuff even
hits the screens they already start cutting back.

also think your right, and I was a fan of Jericho, but unless very different
from this it might not last at all. which is a shame as I'm a fan of apocalyptic
themed moives / TV.
