Hi Folks,

Just to inform you all that BREAKING BAD, the excellent US comedy drama about a man who discovers he has cancer, and proceeds to become involved in drug dealing/making starts on FiveUSA this week.

Season 1 starts on Tuesday 3rd November at 11pm-12:15am, with a single repeat the following night at 12-1:15am.

Season 2 will almost certainly then follow-on straight after on FiveUSA (who have bought the premiere UK rights to it) , as FX have decided not to purchase the rights for it.

It's a damn good show, very funny with some wonderfully dark overtones. (Be wary of the body-in-the-bath scene, in about the 3rd or 4th episode - very sick, but probably also the most gut-bustingly funny scene in the entire first season!)

Yep, weekly every Tuesday night, with a same-episode repeat, every Wednesday night/early hours of Thursday morning.

Bit of a shame FX aren't going to show season 2 - I enjoyed season 1 on their HD channel, but FiveUSA is better than nothing

this is one of the best dramas I have seen in ages I watched the first season on fx hd, and the second via internet, will def watch both seasons again simply a class show.

chuffed the second series has finally turned up on uk telly...
just need rescue me and weeds to follow suit.

...really dont understand that with all the dross on telly that these kind of shows dont always get taken up on uk channels.

The first few seasons of Weeds were shown on Sky3, & Rescue Me is currently running on Quest. Not exactly 'mainstream' channels, but at least they're free to watch!

yeah i've been sky plusing rescue me.....missed weeds though.
...they seem to be rattling through the breaking bads....i've watched one and there's about 4 on the recorder to watch.

s3 starts March 7th in the US, so who knows when it'll be on in the UK. I expect it'll be a fairly long wait, unless it ends up on Sky One or another channel - Five don't seem that bothered about it given their decision to relegate it to the late night time slot. You'd think it'd be one of the prime shows for Five USA

Great show though, I hope we don't have to wait too long for s3 as it's one of the best series on TV.

Yeah, it's very different. Lots of black humour.

I thought Bryan Cranston looks strangely familiar - he's the dad out of Malcolm in the Middle. He, and the show well deserve their Emmy awards.

Season 3 starts tomorrow in the US.
