Interesting bit about the car covered in golf ball like dimples getting an 11% improvement in mpg. You'd think they'd have thought of this earlier wouldn't you. I'd imagine Boeing and Eurobus would be interested too.
Regards

Interesting but I wouldn't want to drive a car covered in golf ball like dimples.

Mark | I did see that and i was more amazed by the fact that 800lb's of clay only dropped the the fuel economy from 26.7 to 26mpg.

Yes, that did seem a little anomalous. Though they did change their testing routine between tests, but did keep it the same for straight comparison purposes on each test.
I wouldn't mind a dimpled car body if it meant say a 10% saving in fuel costs. I'm sure it could be done reasonably stylishly.

Yes, there's been new eps on a Monday night at 10.00 for about the last seven weeks. In fact so new are they that many of them haven't run in the US yet (though ironically this one, 'Dirty Car/Clean Car' has just been run there too).
Hence the programme title of 'New Mythbusters'.

Yes, you're right, they did miss a week and break the series link in the process.
