Angry Channel 4 Screw-Up Again!

Evening,

If by some miracle you noticed that Channel 4 started late-night repeats of the superb drama series "Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip" (from THE WEST WING creator Aaron Sorkin), as of last week, then I wouldn't bother retaining your off-air or Sky Plus recordings! Why? Because C4 have gone and screwed-up the episodes.

On the plus side, the episodes were airing uncut, and uninterrupted . However, I've now learnt tonight, that they don't have the rights to all the episodes, and they aren't sure which episodes they DO have the rights too.

To date, they've aired:

Last Monday morning: Episode 1
Last night: Episodes 5 and 3

Next Monday morning: Episode 7
The following Monday: Episode 8

I've telephoned and complained to C4 tonight, but they were far from caring, and didn't have a clue what is going to happen to the transmissions. As such, you may as well go and buy this amazing one-season-only drama, off of Amazon.co.uk, where you can get it for just shy of £14! (All 6 discs worth! )

Oh, and I asked them if they're going to ever show the final 5 episodes of AFTERWORLD (an animated sci-fi epic that started over the summer). Typically, they initially claimed they'd aired all the episodes, then when I pointed out that there were still five more to go, they noted that I was correct. They couldn't, however, tell me if or when these episodes will be on!

Channel 4 - go boil your scheduling team's heads, because you clearly have not one braincell between you all!

Re: Channel 4 Screw-Up Again!

This is why I don't watch any series I like on TV. Too many shows get mucked about on different channels. I just go straight for the DVD's when the price is right.
