Something For The Weekend suddenly in 4:3

Just now, the programme started off as usual in 16:9 and then suddenly switched to 4:3 in the middle of the title sequence! It's not just a case of the 16:9 signal going either, the image looks to be proportionally correct at 4:3.

How on earth/ why has this happened? Not that this programme is of great importance, but still odd.
