It's season 1 which given how ITV1 screwed up In Plain Sight is something of a victory for ITV employees

Hi,

I thought the first ep was great, but "Target" was awful, no suspense, barely any plotting.

Just dull, hope it gets better

Re: Dollhouse S1 on ITV4

I have the DVD but I'd of waited had I known ITV4 were showing it & so soon. Seen about 7 eps and I'm not impressed, just doesn't "feel" like Joss.

would be nice if ITV4 show Firefly! *HINT* ITV4 *HINT*

still plenty of time to improve.

Re: Dollhouse S1 on ITV4

I'm not seeing this on my EPG? Has it been taken off/moved already, or is it due to the darts which seems to be on Mondays in the indicated timeslot?

Re: Dollhouse S1 on ITV4

It's been postponed for a week due to the darts. Good to see ITV have their priorities straight

Just watched the unaired episode at the end of season 1.

Epitaph One

What on earth?? 10 years in the future??.

It's a decent episode don't get me wrong but If this wasn't meant to be included in the season run (was it?).

Then what was the motivation to make it?

Ah found out.....

"It was the episode that Fox told Whedon they needed, for international distribution deals and DVDs - but wouldn't pay extra for (because they'd already stumped up for an extra pilot) - so it had to be something that could be done with the existing sets, minimal cast changes and inexpensive things."

I also just watched epitaph one but while wondering what was going on I have to say I really like this episode, possibly my favourite of the entire season. A nice little apocalyptic episode with very few appearances of the regular cast. Really liked Zack Ward's character and I hope he returns in season 2!

I also watched the original pilot episode "echo" and I have to say that I wish Dollhouse would have kicked off with this episode. We get so much further into the story without the dull drudgery that was the early episodes in One 45 minutes sitting. I can only imagine how much better the show could have gotten starting the series with echo.
