In Treatment

Does anyone watch this and is it any good? Can't seem to find a R2 DVD of it although I see it is airing (season 1) October 5th 22:00 Sky Arts 1 (& HD).

Re: In Treatment

It's the kind of show that Sky + was made for.

I've seen (and enjoyed) the first two episodes, and will record future shows via series link.

Half-an-hour format worked well, but I'm not quite sure whether I would tune in every night.

I see it as a "Sunday afternoon catch up show".

Exclamation Re: In Treatment

Hi,

I did want to watch or record this series, but 30m every night at 10pm, or 2.5 hrs every Sunday night just clashes too frequently with other shows on other channels.

If they'd repeat each episode nightly, at say 1am, or thereabouts, as a nightly catch-up, I would have started watching/recording it then instead.

It looks fantastic, and I will probably end-up buying it, based purely on the good reviews I've heard about it. Alternatively, maybe Sky Arts will repeat it after its first complete run-through, for those of us who had to miss it. (They are a good channel reknowned for repeating good, unusual US and Canadian shows quite frequently!)

Sadly an R2 release is going to be a long way off I think. However, you can import it on Region 1 (spread across 9 DVD's!), for about £40 approx.

Re: In Treatment

I had a mild scheduling issue so had to remove the planner entry for the monday before last and decided to record the 5 ep marathon last sunday but I forgot to add it to the planner so that was the end of that.
I've dropped the series now but if they repeat it I may jump back in.
