Apologies if this has been covered before but I couldn't find any other references to this on the forum. I've noticed over the last few weeks Sky have moved the European golf to Sky Sports Extra on Saturdays only. It's a real let down after being "spoilt" with excellent HD coverage over the first two days. I can't see why they aren't showing today's golf on the HD1 channel as that is only being used for Soccer Saturday which isn't even in widescreen, let alone HD!!

I agree, they have done this to fit in the Cricket I think. Although how the England one-day performances are worthy of HD at the moment I'll never know!

Golf on HD is superb and I am assured from Ken Brown via Twitter, that the Open will be on HD next year. We shall see.

Don't watch it - but agree with you - it is about time us sports fans were treated as movie fans are.

We have 4 SD channels and only 3 HD channels - whereas there are loads of movie HD channels.

I suggest everyone complains to sky - then we might get parity (after all we pay as much)
