Seen that Harper's Island starts on BBC3 early September - but any news of HD viewing?

Also - any reviews? imdb doesn't have enough votes to give a score (my usual guide for quality)

I saw that it was coming but also that it only lasted 1 season. Not good news unless it was a 1 season show anyway.

Although Americans don't always know good TV.

It's been bought for BBC3, while some simulcasting has appeared between BBC3 and HD there has been no announcement of a HD broadcast but hey what does that prove


Harpers was meant as a 1 season serialised murder mystery, the fact it has no second season is irrelevant and well it would have been rather dull

There is a spoiler thread in the TV forum but basically all you need to know is that it is a huge ensemble cast who dunnit with people dropping like flies in the 7 days running upto a wedding. It gets into slasher movie mode too quickly for my personal liking but I stuck with it to the end.

this starts next sunday on bbc hd who are showing ep 1+2 from 9pm
