Doesn't that look impressive

Give us the first season on Blu and I would be even happier.

Star Trek Enterprise's 'T'Pol', Jolene Blalock joins season two, as a recurring "Sister of the Dark". This season is going to be full off eye candy

Richard with his bumfluff in the earlier clip just looks like Defying Gravity's German bird's hallucination

Marked

Great to have the series back with a budget capable of decking out so many lovelies in what ever the material was to make the clingy suits
That said the episode was way too short to fit everything in, it was rushed and almost panto like at times and while the slow mo was as always fantastic it was wasted especially in the mass battle, the bathing scene however benefited greatly

Re: Legend of the Seeker - Season 2 (US + Spoilers)

Episode 1: Marked - 8.8/10

Nice return to the second season, did not waste time in delivering the goods, loads of action, the Mord'Sith never looked better. Charisma Carpenter's character and Cara were building up to something good but fell out too quick

Yes there was a lot compressed into the first episode, the Seekers true birth, the search for the stone of tears, Richard's army, the underworld rift, Darken Rahl, the crazy creature, the Seekers changed destiny. Liking the inclusion off Cara in the team. Kahlan, she soon changed her mind about not going with Richard & Zedd All great stuff.

Re: Legend of the Seeker - Season 2 (US + Spoilers)

I really enjoyed the first episode and having read the books, this is how I always imagined Cara to be! I think the actress portrayed her well and cant wait to see how she develops the series. I think Cara and the Mord Sith steal the show, well in the books anyhow!.

Possible Spoiler from Books below

Somebody said Jolene Blalock(spl) was joining the cast under a recurring guest role as a sister of the dark/light.. I take it due to her physical features she will probably be cast as Nicci?

Re: Legend of the Seeker - Season 2 (US + Spoilers)

great 2nd episode, they're really upping the gore factor this season aren't they? I'm really warming to Cara, can't wait till the inevitable love triangle storyline kicks in.. i'm just hoping it's Cara and Kahlen who are the focal point

Re: Legend of the Seeker - Season 2 (US + Spoilers)

Cara as a Mord Sith outcast trying to be more understanding was a bit like Seven Of Nine separated from the Borg and learning to be human again (in addition to the tight outfits)

Something about the creaking of the outfit that was intriguing

That aside a good action ep and quite bloody, always a good thing.

Re: Legend of the Seeker - Season 2 (US + Spoilers)

The second episode was good and the only question I have is; What did Cara whisper in that guys ear! I recently rewatched the first season finale and noticed that Khalen seems to have a lot more make up in the second series. Has anyone else noticed this?

Re: Legend of the Seeker - Season 2 (US + Spoilers)

Episode 2: Baneling - 7.9/10

Not a good as the 1st episode, Cara being the highlight. but interesting with The Keeper getting the dead to kill for him, the underworld needs to depict more pain and horror, than oiled guys sliding around each other.

Episode 3: Broken - 8.9/10

Good solid & emotional episode, the father's final line to his young daughter said it all. I bet Cara wished she kept her pretty mouth shut sending Kahlan into Con Dar mode, scary. Kahlan's own grief off Cara killing Dennee was never really touched upon after those first moments. Can Kahlan read minds from afar like she did in the court with the teacher?

Loved the reference to Zed's variable ability when it comes to magic

Cara does a really food mean and intimidating expression even in a frilly dress and the spelling out of the abuse young girls are put under to brain wash them in the cult of the Mord Sith was not pretty.
I'm not sure if it's mind reading as such just a buzz she may pick up at distance, the teacher was a total blank and Kahlan knew which type of human was capable of that. The confession was surprising but no surprise Cara got off but I was expecting a more brutal death they way they described it unless of course telling the truth really hurts

This is becoming my favorite show at the moment. Wasnt a fan of xena or hercules, to cheesy for my liking. Even though Legnd is cheesy, its the right amount. Action and effects are top notch.

Cleavage as far as you chose to look, I thought Kahlan was going to let the side down but she came on strong to win in an impressive manner

Boobs aside it was an entertaining ep and nice to have a brat that's a girl and not a boy, they should have killed her to be honest but I suppose it's not that type of show.

Yeah it was fun and while obviously a fair damsel was required to turn Zed's head I thought they went a little over the top, she was of a standard who writes a tell all book about her famous hollywood clients not some slapper in a dirt water village tavern

Delighted once again we get more depth to Cara who sided with the big picture and not just her own immediate concerns and always good to see Shota, not all bad but can't be trusted

Fury

Slow mo blood splatter, carnage and slaughter
I enjoyed this episode a lot despite the binding spell perhaps too obvious an attempt to do good and not evil and blimey it's a small world, the Rahls got around

Great makeup work with Cara's wound, very nasty although I didn't quite get the idea the Minders where supernatural healers or was it simply poor continuity.

That was why the had the montage of Richard handling the sword and getting wound up, now he is in control and channelling the rage rather than letting it control him and I assume the Minders are not then directly affected.
It's the uncontrolled rage fuelled in tandom with the sword that triggered them off.

Resurrection

Now that was an episode to welcome the series back after the holiday break
The choreography of the initial battle was fantastic with all the good guys doing their thing and the return of Denna in all her glory was most welcome, so much prefer the severe look and ponytail over the glam look
Loved the idea of Rahl offering the deal and for a minute it sounded like the ideal solution, Richard does after all kill quite a few people and it's not about the intent just the act involved.
Still a happy ending in one respect and more to come from Denna
