Created by Jeff Eastin, revolves around the odd-couple pairing of a con man (Matthew Bomer) and the head of the FBI's white-collar crime unit (Tim DeKay). Re: White Collar (US + Spoilers)

Quite looking forward to this. If Matt Bomers new character is essentially a more shady Bryce Larkin then it could be quite a 'charming' caper show.

Re: White Collar (US + Spoilers)

Def worth a watch, quite good fun and some decent characters!

(which means it'll get canned after 5 eps !)

Re: White Collar (US + Spoilers)

Good fun ... but it is essentially Catch Me If You Can - The Series

Bimbeemer - unlikely to get canned so early, since it's a (basic) cable show, they tend to stick with their investments a little longer

Tiffani Thiessen doesn't seem to have aged too well, she's only 35 but looks almost 10 years older - sunbed addict?

Re: White Collar (US + Spoilers)

Watched the pilot three times now. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing where they go with this. It helps that it replaces the Psych shaped hole in my viewing sched.

I hope for your own sake you didn't read that spoiler ... otherwise you should 'Haitianise' yourself

Isn't a bad show at all
- that kind of feel good slightly escapist dramedy with an underlying arc
(like Burn Notice, Warehouse 13, Leverage etc ... I wouldn't say like Psych, which I love, since I regard that as an out and out comedy)

Good character chemistry ... British bird (wosherface from Lost) was absent after the pilot, replaced by the better skilled Natalie Morales (Wendy Watson from the shortlived but brilliant The Middleman)

Wierd one I kept thinking that while good White Collar is not 'mad withdrawal' television for me. Then I thought some more so far only two episodes were actually poor but they were straight after the pilot so they've clouded my opinion. Its still not quite there yet but its got very likable lead actors with enough chemistry to cover up the cracks. I reckon in the same way that Warehouse 13 was starting to hit its stride by the end White Collar should manage it too both are good enjoyable enough series. Of the NBC properties that I love Chuck, Burn Notice and Eureka are still yet to be dislodged.

I started this over the weekend too and we ended up watching 4 episodes mostly because we are so low on other things but we both really enjoyed it.

yeah we were already watching and enjoying Human Target but also started Breaking bad this weekend. Only 2 episodes into that but enjoying it too. It's on it's 3rd season I think but hadn't heard of it (or maybe just hadn't paid attention) untill yesterday.

I've not checked but was hoping that shows would start coming back tonight now the olympics are over. While it's a pain when there is nothing on for a couple of weeks it's nice to be pushed into trying new things.

I have had Breaking Bad sitting there waiting to be watched for a long time, but never got round to sticking it on. I might give that a punt this week.

Watched a few more White Collar and so far I am enjoying it.

Finale plot spoilers

Just finished watching season 1 over 4 days. Its a very easy watch, though i enjoyed it, i still have reservations, but would like to see where season 2 leads.

Why could kate not just go to Neal and run off, also Peter had a chance to bring Kate to Neal as well, it seemed to me they were just going in circles, and Kate being closed mouth about not telling Neil anything. After a while that arc was starting to annoy, till we find out what Operation Mentor was - so this was the reason why Kate did not want to reveal too much to Neal, as in exchange for the Music Box given to Fowler, she and Neal got new identities and could go anywhere.

There was a obvious goof when Fowler got shot by Peter in the last episode, he loosened his tie and shirt to show the bullet proof vest, but it was back to normal in next shot. But in the last episode we did truly get a standout moment. The series has good characters in Neal, Mozzie, Peter & Fowler, also a fan of Thiessen (from the early days) as Elizabeth, though its more of a background role. Looking forward to S2 very soon.
