Anybody catch it?

I watched about 30mins & turned it off, let's face it, it wasn't going to have a happy ending !.

Have recorded it, will get around to it when I'm in the right frame of mind !

I thought it was excellent. Very uncomfortable to watch at times. The director and the guy who played the security guard were on BBC Breakfast and apparently much of the dialogue was improvised. We need more TV like this.

That was the scene that made me turn off, when the young hot shot mortgage guy bumps into his mate from school who was now a security guard.

I was thinking "this is not going to end well" !

Re: Anybody See Freefall last night?

Excellent recession drama, the cast were great from Jim (Joseph Mawle) and his wife (Anna Maxwell Martin), as was seller, Dave played by Dominic Cooper. Even Sarah Harding did ok for a bit part. 1.9 million was the viewing numbers.

Re: Anybody See Freefall last night?

Sky+'d it to watch later.

Couldn't work out from the various TV guides I read whether it was a one-off or part of a series. Worth watching though?

Re: Anybody See Freefall last night?

i thought this was an absolutely brilliant drama. Gripping and unfortunately a true reflection of how things went so badly wrong.

Harding was barely in it. I'm sure she was just signed up to encourage people to watch it. Cast were brilliant. I was most impressed by the poor security chap. The scene where he approaches his mate was intense to say the least.

Very gripping drama from the first scene to the last. More of this please BBC!!! Just as watchable as the take which, whilst completely different in terms of genre was equally well set out.

I've never been into tv dramas, not for years.. What else have i missed!?!?

Re: Anybody See Freefall last night?

Seems like I am in the minority. I thought it was rubbish, and couldn't even stick it out to the end.
And Sarah Harding wasn't in it for her acting ability was she? Another "singer" with pretentions well above her talent.
If it was improvised, that would explain the poor script!

Re: Anybody See Freefall last night?

Well watched it last night and thought it was pretty good. Very true to life with some of the stories that have been in the press.
