Re: Dragons den returns

Cool...I don't think they do enough "what happened after" programmes I'd like to know how the two guys with the baby rocker got on...or some of the people who were offered and turned down the offers.

I like it, but it's getting a bit "pantomime" of late, but entertaining none the less

Excellent first episode - had everything in it. I thought it was Dick Van Dyke walking up the stairs with the first pitch

Re: Dragons den returns

I love the show but I do think they are getting a little upthemselves of late, really treating the prospects like naughty kids.

I find it a bit cringeworthy at times, but overall great entertainment.

Deborah Meaden's face is scarier than their 'interactive' horror show

and would be immediately rendered obsolete upon service providers waiving the charges to the customer
- really don't see the standalone device shifting units, the only profitability would be as an OEM component of all new DECT phones base unit

I wouldn't even shell out a tenner for an ugly extra device to plug into the phone socket ... it's not exactly a major hardship to hang up on a spam/cold call (and threaten them about breaking TPS rules), or string them along for a laugh ... it's not as if it's non-stop

The service providers version isn't quite as useful as his box of tricks but it could be made so. It seems a very high risk venture to me, if they ever did decide to remove the subscription, the entire product becomes worthless .

I can't see phone manufacturers wanting to licence the technology to use in their phones for the same reason.

It's a nice idea on paper but a very high risk investment that could go sour instantly and kill the market.

Not George, Peter or Adejare. They are the owners of The Whole Leaf company.

There is supposed to be a group of musicians and a poker player looking for funding tonight. This series is shaping up to be a lot better than the last!

Re: Dragons den returns

I do like the show, but always knowing the last invention of each show is going to be picked is getting a bit tiresome.
I also feel that telephone screening thing was only picked because the inventor had previously made alot of money.

It a good idea that why the telephone screening item was picked. Was anyone else in stiches when the dragons had a go at the drums this week or was that just me lol.

Re: Dragons den returns

They need new Dragons !

(puts fireproof hat on ) Dont get me wrong ive nothing against any of the Dragons and im fine with the line up BUT for me they just get on to well .

They dont really undercut each other they even start now to tell the bidders to go to other Dragons that suit there business . I know some put up some weak fight but seems all for show to me .

They have it sewn up and I just dont like it . Still enjoy the show just used to like it better when they wasnt all mates and saying from the same hymm sheet.

Id like to see Gerry Robinson also liked Doug (cant remember his name) as he did his own thing always and didnt follow the others . Thought they all was a bit silly on Jonathan Ross this week too .

Just my opinion

agree with that as well . Made himself look a fool last series with the offer with a timer on and did it again last night .

I know everyone watches all shows for different reasons i.e xfactor for the bad ones OR good ones I watch DD for the good products and good entrepreneurs I dont like all the gimmicks or peter and Theo trying to say the best corny lines.

As i say i still watch but its nowhere near as good as when Doug Richards was on and the early stuff.
Even Racheal Elnore was anoying but at least she did her own thing (admittedly it was usually something rubbish)
