Entourage Season 6 (US Pace)

I'm quite surprised that there isn't any discussion going on about the season premiere.

I won't spoil anything in the first post, but I will say that I love the direction that they're taking it in.

Really solid start to the season. Ari/Drama/E all on top form.

So pleased it's back

I would like to have seen a bit more on the Scorsesi film but hey. Also great to see Sloane back she is a hotty.

Oh yeah, Sloane is smoking. It doesn't hurt having a bit of Jamie-Lynn around either.

It's great to see Vince's career taking off again, and Ari/Lloyd have such great chemistry together (as does almost everyone on the show) that's it good to see more coming from it, that and Lloyd is a perfect platform for Ari's tirades.

I love this show and am looking forward to Thursday for the UK start. The only thing that has always bothered me is the lenght of the show. I always find that I am just starting to get into it and it bloody stops...............

Yeah, and to make matters that much worse, each season is on average 12 episodes. I know that 12-14 episodes is the standard for HBO shows, and it works really well for shows like The Sopranos and Six Feet Under where each episode is one hour in length, but it's a real kick in the teeth when you're getting less than six hours a year of such a quality show.

....thats why i've been snapping up the box sets.....
got 1 and 2 for 7 or 8 quid from hmv a while back (think they've gone up now)
....just got 3 part 1 and 4 for a tenner too.........
another great show hid away in the schedules.

Just managed to see all 7 episodes of this season yesterday. One of my favourite televison series this but agree about the show length.

Anyone else feel that not much has happened so far this season?

I really love the show, but this season doesn't seem very eventful in comparison to previous ones. Less funny moments, etc.

I think it has been pretty good although it has never quite reached its high of seasons 1-3 in my opinion.

I think quite a lot has happened this series but because it is all happening for E, Drama and Turtle instead of Vince it might seem that way.

Ari is still a legend.

Exactly. Loads of stuff has happened in the first 6 or 7 epsiodes, people moving out, getting new jobs, Turtle going to college.

Loved the 'deported naked to the Taliban' line Ari gave a few episodes back. Also really loved the recent golf-centric episode with Drama in ultra competitive mode.

Episode 9 was another strong showing for Season 6. The conclusion to the stalker storyline provided some great Drama moments, and continued the development of Turtle. I've always felt that Turtle was the weakest of the five main characters (although still highly entertaining), but I'm not sure that I can maintain that stance after this season. I've really enjoyed seeing Turtle 'come out of his shell' - so to speak.

Can't wait to watch the next episode.
