BET Awards - Freesat HD Exclusive.

On Saturday July 4, Freesat have got exclusive HD rights to the BET Awards 2009.

Will you watch them? If so will it be because they're being shown in HD?

Not for me - I cannot stand award shows.

HD doesn't influence which programmes I view, as I'd sooner watch something in SD which I'm interested in than tune to something simply because it's in HD.

No interest at all unless there is something totally daft happens then I youtube it (Bruno on MTV).
It's certainly interesting and most welcome how BET have secured the HD rights and somehow found the capacity and encoding etc to broadcast it and if Freesat could have something like this on a regular basis so people can expect it then even better.

I expect however 9 out of 10 Freesat owners will be totally unaware and it wouldn't surprise me if more generic and SKY HD box owners watch it

Blimey I thought it was going to be live, a week delay then they might as well put it on SKY Anytime as well since there is a BET programme on there now.
