Cool Burp

I beg your pardon.

No TV Burp is back on tonight at 22.30, and although I’m not that keen on Harry Hill I thought the last time this was on a very funny series. (Just hope I have the right one he did a very similar show that was not nearly as funny).

Is anyone watching this series since it came back? Last nights was one of the best I haven’t laugh so much since the first time I saw Monty Python.

Cool

The one with Shergar was a classic as well.
For anyone who missed it it is repeated tonight at midnight and tomorrow at 5 pm on ITV.

Harry Hill (like Bo Selecta), is in that 'Can't stand that person' category. I just turn over as soon as I see them on TV.
i.e. THEY JUST AINT FUNNY!

I might give it another go and see what all the fuss is about.

Before I saw him in TV Burp I thought his humour was not up to much and could not see what people were laughing at. But in this series he really shines and I even got my parents to watch and they do not like his humour but I got them to watch it yesterday and they were creased with laughter.

Give it a 2 week go, you my just hit on a bad one although thee hasn’t been one yet.

I have to agree with the general consensus.

I used to work with a guy who thought Harry Hill was the best comedian ever. I gave him a look once and I couldn't understand it... he just was NOT funny! Stupid, yes. Silly, undoubtedly. But funny? No.

However, in TV Burp he's come down a bit from the up-there planet he used to live on, and on this new level I think he excels.

Usually with these "clip show" type programmes, the presenter just gets in the way with groan-inducing "humour" commentary in between the clips, but in this case Harry does actually add value to the programme.

If, like I was, you are turned off by the thought of HH... give this programme a try first.

I reckon Denis (yawn) Norden could learn a thing or two from HH.

(But they do say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and our Denis is getting on a bit).

Best Show On TV at the moment! And he has an endless amount of material to take the p*ss out of! As soap opera's and crappy reality TV is all that is on TV. He was great taking the p*ss out of that daft Phil Mitchell from Eastenders introducing Britains Hardest Man, this type of TV deserves to be rubbished and Harry is a god at it!

'But what if Goldilocks was a shaved pig with a blond wig'.
'Ah yes now you're talking, that's definately possible'.
'Yes we know from history that they used to shave pigs'.
