Think more SciFi, mix an Amorphous alloy with this stuff and you have your self some regenerating ablative armor.

I think i'll paint mine Red and Gold.

Now just a need to find a Phased Plasma Riffle in the 40 Watt Range

If only Sony had used this for the PSP or Samsung for their high gloss finished monitors mine wouldn't look so beaten up.

Excellent idea though - truly Sci-fi territory. If i'd read it in a Philip K Dick story i'd have said it was far fetched.

If this stuff interests you, listen to the Material World session from this week on Radio 4, BBC - BBC Radio 4 Programmes - Material World, 12/03/2009 where the discussion was about ribosomes being used as nanomachines. Well, I was impressed. Be quick, it'll only be there for a few more days.
