Post Pirate radio 'puts lives at risk'

Authorities are increasing efforts to crack down on pirate radio stations in the UK, saying they "could put lives at risk".

Interesting? But why do they have to crack down on these folks... i just don't see it.

Then they loose all their dj broadcast equipment. Definitely not worth it from the dj standpoint. Radio is such a dieing breed in my mind.

And the first video, why does the police raid the place like its a death threatening situation. ha ha

i note the bbc report doesn't mention that they employ several ex pirate DJ's..

Some of my friends and me had our own pirate station some 18years ago and the police said the same thing then..."COULD" put lives at risk.

They said the same thing about mobile phones on planes & in hospitals.."COULD" put lives at risk. That was ********

I would like to know just how many people over the years have died as a direct result of a pirate station. Statistics please

One last thing. Are the police trying to tell us the Emergency Servies(god bless'em) have not switched to digital yet?
