Re: The mouse hits 40-year milestone

It's a pity that they couldn't build a reliable one.

I've had the old type ball mice, optical, laser, wired and wireless.

Microsoft, Logitech etc. They seem to only last about a year. Both around £50

The best mouse I am using right now and I paid £14.99 for it from Aldi last year but the center scroll wheel doesn't work any more. The batteries last a good year on these compared to Logitech that last a few months.

Taking it back tomorrow to exchange it for their new model. Can't beat the 3yr warranty.

Have you got a touch like a pet elephant?

I've had a wired microsoft optical for 5 years and it's bombproof.

It's had a few bumps down the years too, especially watching idiot's on you tube.

Wholesale Computer Accessories, Free Shipping, Wholesaler Distributor
It's on the list of computer accessories and parts. They have the DVI video thing to convert that jap monitor to work with your other computer. Just about any other kind of wire adaptor, usb connectors, monitor extension wires, ps2 extention wires, and all kinds of female and male swap connectors and things that I think would help your shop. If that above link don't work then goto FREE Shipping Of Wholesale Items China Direct Wholesaler Distributor and click on computer accessories. Let me know if that is what you need and give me your email address again.

Re: DVI computer monitor adaptor

So its 40 year eh? And Hollywood insist on portraying hackers/anyone using a computer in movies to just use the keyboard and completely forget about the mouse....

Re: The mouse hits 40-year milestone

I'm not heavy handed with them - they just get a lot of use.

Makes you laugh when watching tv programs like Fringe or Bones. When they want to zoom into some ones face or a number plates they hit a few buttons on the keyboard and it becomes crystal clear - I've never seem software that can do that and without a mouse - how do they pick what part of the image they want to zoom into?

Or they might see a reflection in a car's front mirrors and zoom into that.

I know the USA Military can zoom from a satellite but you cannot process what is not there but then it's tv and we all enjoy it.
