‘I hadn't anticipated that all the emotion we try to concentrate through the HD production process to give you, our audience, the most intense viewing experience we can would however coalesce around the on-screen channel marker,’ admits Danielle Nagler, Head of HDTV for BBC Vision . read more &raq uo;

Good news, but again I don't understand why this applies only to films and drama.

BBC deems the other programme categories to be less valuable?

Re: BBC finally muzzles DOGs on HD channel

All DOGs should be removed. they serve NO purpose, except to wind up the viewer.
I don't need reminding which channel I'm watching. I know because i'm watching it!
Maybe there is someone out there who has suffered screen burn could sue the TV companies and that may make them think twice about using them.

Watched Larkrise and Carnforth on BBC 1 rather than HD because of the logo
