Well yeah course companys are not going to buy Sun systems when they can get a Linux hell even an old Unix server infrastructure for a fraction of the cost and they do exactly the same things, if not better!

I don't think its anything to do with that, all the places that make micro chips are getting hit hard by the credit crunch because there isa lot less of a demand.
