Post Oppo to launch first dedicated SACD-compatible Blu-ray player
<p>Purveyor of high-quality Universal DVD upscalers, Oppo, has shown the world’s first standalone Super Audio CD compatible Blu-ray player at the CEDIA Expo in Denver. The brand’s BDP-83 is certain to beat Sony’s first dedicated SACD BD player, tentatively scheduled for 2009, to market. </p>

Even if it has SACD, DVD-A, SD multiregion and Blu Ray multiregion, £500.00 a piece is not going to sell many!
