Looks like one of these will be my first BD player . As both will be released at the same time, I can check the reviews before I splash out. The Panasonic may have the edge for mw if it includes DTS-MA through analogues at the off set.

Well dont hold your breath because if you do you better do so until about christmas for the BD50 if the fiasco of supply with the BD30 is anything to go by. There have even been retailers dump panasonic because of how they have been so badly treated in supplying this unit or rather not supplying it despite endless promises to do so.

Which dealers have dumped Panasonic? I see AVLand no longer stock Panasonic (who dumped who?), but are there other dealers?
