Toshiba has lowered it earning forecast for the year, announcing that it will take a 65 billion yen loss for exiting the HD DVD business. It may have cost Toshiba 65 billion yen, but I paid £209 for my EP30 and now you can get it for £69, now thats what I call a loss.

I guess we all knew when we bought into Hi-def there would be a winner and a loser.
We just have to accept that HD-DVD lost. No point in crfying over spilt milk.
I have Blu-Ray as well and will just carry on with them from now on.
Not to fussed to be honest and BluRay players should start to become more reasonably priced in the coming year.

It may take a while for Blu ray players to drop. PS3 is the best option still :waiting:
