UK Xbox prices to start at 160 quid

Microsoft has announced new Xbox 360 prices for the UK. From Friday, 14th March, the Xbox 360 Pro, with 20GB hard drive and one wireless controller, will sell for 199.99 pounds. Let's hope this encourages Sony to drop the price of the PS3 soon.

I still don't think i'll get one despite the price cut as i have a ps3 and a wii already.

The 360 doesn't offer me anything that i can't live without in gaming terms.

Good price though although looks like a bit of a desperate move by m$.

I think M$ had to to something as the ps3 does seem to be picking up some momentum at the moment.

last weeks total sales figures:

DSL: 131,031 (173,348)
PS3: 75,246 (75,390)
Wii: 73,622 (92,338)
PSP: 45,212 (44,405)
360: 44,662 (47,735)
PS2: 38,738 (41,311)

and if you like and europes total sales figure the ps3 is only around 1million units behind the 360 now.
